Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

Welcome to Tanzania! Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Moshi. Meet your guides, attend a briefing session, and check your gear. Enjoy a relaxing evening before the trek begins.

Day 2: Moshi to Mandara Hut (2,700m) – 8 km | 5-6 Hours

Begin your trek at Marangu Gate. Hike through lush rainforests filled with monkeys and exotic birds. Reach Mandara Hut, where you'll stay overnight. Optional visit to Maundi Crater for stunning views.

Day 3: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut (3,720m) – 12 km | 6-8 Hours

Continue through the moorland zone, with beautiful views of Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. Arrive at Horombo Hut for rest and acclimatization.

Day 4: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut (4,703m) – 10 km | 6-8 Hours

Trek through an alpine desert, passing the famous "Saddle" between Mawenzi and Kibo. Reach Kibo Hut and prepare for the midnight summit push.

Day 5: Summit Day! Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) & Descent to Horombo Hut – 20 km | 12-14 Hours

Start your summit attempt at midnight. Reach Gilman’s Point (5,685m), then push to Uhuru Peak for breathtaking sunrise views. Descend back to Horombo Hut for well-deserved rest.

Day 6: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate – 20 km | 5-7 Hours

Trek back down through the rainforest to Marangu Gate. Receive your summit certificate and transfer back to Moshi for celebrations.
