Tour Plan (Day-Wise Itinerary)

Day 1: Arrival in Moscow or Mineralnye Vody & Transfer to Terskol

  • Arrive at Mineralnye Vody Airport (MRV).
  • Scenic drive to Terskol village, our base for the expedition.
  • Team briefing, gear check, and welcome dinner.

Day 2: Acclimatization Trek to Cheget Peak (3,450m)

  • Hike up Cheget Peak for a stunning view of Mount Elbrus.
  • Enjoy the Caucasus landscape & Russian hospitality.

Day 3: Move to High Camp (3,800m) & Ice Training

  • Take a cable car to Garabashi Hut.
  • Basic mountaineering skills & ice axe training session.
  • Rest and acclimatize at 3,800m.

Day 4: Acclimatization Hike to Pastukhova Rocks (4,800m)

  • Trek to Pastukhova Rocks for better altitude adaptation.
  • Return to high camp for rest.

Day 5: Rest Day & Final Preparations

  • Gear check & rest before summit attempt.
  • Optional short hikes for light acclimatization.

Day 6: SUMMIT DAY (5,642m)

  • Early start (2 AM) for the summit push.
  • Use of snowcats to Pastukhova Rocks (optional).
  • Reach the highest point in Europe! Celebrate and descend safely.

Day 7: Reserve Day for Summit Attempt

  • Buffer day in case of bad weather.

Day 8: Descend to Terskol & Rest

  • Return to Terskol village.
  • Enjoy a farewell dinner.

Day 9: Transfer to Airport & Departure

  • Drive to Mineralnye Vody Airport for onward travel.
